Tiffany Townsend is a licensed master social worker and the Senior Program Manager at Helping Mamas, a baby supply and essential needs bank. Her professional and volunteer experience reflects her commitment to community service and social justice. One of her super powers is her natural ability to cultivate impactful community partnerships. She has assisted with the development of several maternal and child health programs that provide women and families with basic essential needs. In her current role she oversees the regular distribution of diapers and period products to over a hundred organizations across Georgia.
As a single mom, Tiffany is passionate about maternal health and women’s issues and has been actively involved in advocacy efforts to address menstrual equity and period poverty. She believes wholeheartedly that when you empower women, entire families and communities can be elevated. Tiffany earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Georgia State University and her Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and reading.
