Sheryl-Anne Murray is the VP Market Operations for CareSource Georgia. She is equipped with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry serving in several executive management capacities and focusing primarily on managed care implementation and operations for various payer organizations serving underserved populations.
For the past 15 years her focus has been on Medicaid Managed Care. She has implemented start up operations and Medicaid MCOs, in Georgia, District of Columbia, and Kentucky and has also served as the leader of a Medicaid MCO in Washington, DC. Her leadership responsibilities during this timeframe included RFP development, Regulatory and Government Affairs, Claims Processing, Enrollment Operations, Member and Provider Operations, Network Development, Reporting, Compliance, and Medical Management.
Prior to joining CareSource, she served as the Vice President of Business Process Solutions at Healthplan Services, a Wipro Company, a provider of sales, benefit administration, retention and technology solutions to insurance and managed care organizations. She was responsible for managing payer clients and providing solutions to combat payer pain points such as increasing member engagement, developing population health strategies, and improving the provider data management process while expanding the Medicaid line of business. She also served as the Executive Director for the Florida Medicaid Program for Humana Health Plans. In this role Sheryl-Anne was responsible for the operational management and administration for over 300,000 members which included all member education and community outreach activities, regulatory reporting, data analytics, claims and customer service oversight and relationship building with vendors and government regulators.
Sheryl-Anne has also consulted for approximately nine years assisting health plans across the country with RFP development, claims operations, provider contracting and data management operations, system selection and configuration, system training and process improvement activities.
Community service is her passion and this is demonstrated through her involvement with the United Way of Cobb County and the Boys and Girls Club of Cobb County as a Board of Director and through Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and the National Council of Negro Women.
Sheryl-Anne earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from Howard University and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Miami.
