Lynne Meadows

Lynne P. Meadows, RN, MS, has 38 years of nursing and healthcare experience. She earned a BSN from Queens College and an MS degree in Nursing from Georgia State University. Lynne had an extensive career at Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA, where she held several leadership roles, including Assistant Vice President of Patient Care/Nursing Services.
Since the inception of the program in 2000, Lynne has served as the Director of District Health Services for the Fulton County School System. She was honored as the 2011 School Nurse Administrator of the Year by the Georgia Association of School Nurses and the 2017 Nurse Administrator of the Year by March of Dimes.

Lynne actively participates on several healthcare and community boards at local, state, and national levels. She has held various positions on the Georgia Association of School Nurses Executive Board, including Treasurer, State Director, and State Data Champion. Additionally, she serves on the Georgia School-Based Health Alliance Advisory Board, Amerigroup Health Equity Advisory Council, and Grady Health System Health Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Council. Lynne was also one of the first School-Based Leadership Fellows for the National School-Based Health Alliance.

Her contributions to advancing school nursing have earned her numerous awards and recognitions. Most recently, Lynne was inducted as a Fellow in the National Association of School Nurses, the highest honor awarded by the organization. Lynne’s passions include supporting pediatric and women’s health initiatives, advocating for school nurses and school health services, and promoting health equity, diversity, and inclusion. She is dedicated to improving healthcare and quality of life for those most in need.
