Ashlie James has over 17 years of professional nonprofit and volunteer experience, having served alongside and consulted for charitable, faith-based and educational organizations of all sizes and scopes. She is currently Founder and Executive Director of Atlanta Growing Leadership Of Women (GLOW), a nonprofit mentoring and leadership development organization for young women and girls in underserved communities that subsequently also operates a period supply bank to help keep girls focused in school and women in the workplace. She is also Principal Consultant at Thrive Mission Resources, a consulting practice that serves grassroots organizations with mission-driven communications and grant writing services.
With degrees in biblical studies and nonprofit leadership, Ashlie’s passion for serving others is filtered through both a ministry and community lens with an aim of building and supporting initiatives that empower people to lead better lives and secure sustainable futures.
